Low level detection in Cereals

The Challenge

Our client is the largest company in the dairy, desserts, beverages and baby food sector currently in Colombia with a presence in Ecuador, Venezuela and the United States. Our client needed a sensor capable of reliably detecting the presence of cereal. The sensors they used had problems because the cereal caused damage to the surface of the sensor that generated false signals to the system and it is causing costly machine stops.

Our Solution

The technology and construction of our sensor MONONIVO allowed us to solve the problem easily because thanks to its sensitivity and body in stainless steel it was possible to detect reliably the cereal without causing damage to the active part of the sensor.
