Electromechanical content measurement for the biomass industry

The Challenge

At a biomass plant, waste material in the form of wood sawdust filled a bulk storage silo. Reliable measurement was essential so the customer was alerted when the storage silo was full so that the next stage of operation - transfer to transport could happen to take the waste material away. The conditions were particularly dusty so a robust and durable device was essential.

Our Solution

UWT UK had recommended and supplied the NivoBob® - NB 4100 which whilst being extremely cost effective, met all the application challenges with reliability and guarantee. UWT UK Ltd visited the site this week to service the unit where they found the customer extremely satisfied with the device's performance and the ongoing support and service from the UWT team.
