Level measurement in a grain storage Silo

The Challenge

For level measurement in a grain silo, continuous level measurement technology was required. The sensor had to be mounted on the inclined silo roof. Another challenge is the heavy dust generation inside the silo.

Our Solution

The electromechanical lot sensor NivoBob NB 4000 is often used in such applications. The flexible aiming flange, adjustable up to 50°, is ideal for inclined roofs. Additionally, the dusty environment does not affect the measurement with the NivoBob. A reliable and durable solution for all grain silos.
