Level measurement in gas cooling tank

The Challenge

A continuous level measurement of water within a very small measuring range should be realized. In addition to filling and emptying using pumps, which cause pressure fluctuations, the presence of H2 gas can be considered very critical.

Our Solution

The capacitive rod sensor NivoCapa NC 8100 in rod verson is the ideal solution for this task. The capacitive measuring technology offers a very fast measurement (<1s) and is not influenced by steam or pressure fluctuations. The installation on a nozzle also allows a measuring range up to the tank cap and this with maximum accuracy over the entire length of the sensor.
