NG8100 water level in steam boiler

The Challenge

The customer was looking for a reliable level transmitter in their pipe system which is connected to the steam boiler in the power plant. The pipe has a small diameter and the installation space is limited.

Our Solution

Due to its versatility the guided wave radar sensor NivoGuide 8100 turned out to be the best solution for this application. The sensor delivers reliable and precise measurement results even under difficult ambient conditions. It can be installed in narrow pipes without any concerns. Moreover, the high temperature, the presence of steam and condensate around the probe do not affect the measurement result.
