NivoRadar ® - NR 7200 in a molasses storage tank

The Challenge

An animal feed manufacturer from Egypt was looking for a continuous measurement technology for its molasses storage tank. The silo height is 10 m. Accuracy was a very important factor.

Our Solution

For this application, we installed our continuous radar sensor NivoRadar NR 7200 in conjunction with our digital display NT 4900. The NR 7200 is very easy to install thanks to its 1 1/2" thread and can withstand all weather conditions. It operates at a frequency of 80 GHz using FMCW technology and can withstand temperatures of up to 80 °C. Thanks to its simple setup, the sensor is extremely practical and user-friendly.
