NR 7200 in diesel storage tanks

The Challenge

An important marine fuel distribution company in Colombia needed to control the inventory of 13 diesel tanks measuring 2500 mm in height. Accuracy and rapid updating were critical factors for the process.

Our Solution

Our ideal solution for this scenario was the level transmitter NivoRadar NR 7200. These non-contact sensors feature PVDF wetted parts, supporting temperatures up to 80ºC, with a high accuracy of +-2 mm and a rapid response time of 3 seconds due to their 80 GHz high frequency. They operate effectively in extreme measurement conditions and outdoor environments, boasting an IP68 rating. Configuration through the UWTLevel App is effortless. The combination with the liter-scale function enhanced level monitoring for operators and facilitated false echo suppression for internal metal parts.
