RF 8000 and CN 7100 in Gasifier

The Challenge

An animal feed manufacturer, needed level controls for the gasifier system, applied for the pellets production. The system needed point control to detect two tanks with a mixture of water and tar at the process temperature of 170ºC and 6 Bar and 80ºC.

Our Solution

Our best solution in this case was the RF 8 with temperature extension up to 200ºC, with active shield technology to protect against possible incrustations, this probe is able to support 35 bar and made with stainless steel and electrodes isolated with PPS. For the points in the 80ºC tank, the best solution was the CN7100 with tip sensitive technology, probe made with PPS and support temperatures up to 125ºC.
