RFnivo 8000 in Hot Water
The Challenge
An important mining company in Peru needed a point measurement solution for a silicon tile hydration reactor. This system operates at 120°C with intense steam with 2 meters high and ca. 5 meters in length.
Our Solution
Our solution for this case was the RFnivo 8000 capacitive level sensor. This level switch can withstand up to 200°C of process temperature and has wetted seals in FKM and active shield technology. Due to its robust construction, it can withstand the high pressures, up to 35 bar, and operate even with constant steam over the probe, the inverse frequency technology guarantees this good functioning.
