RN 3001 as empty detector in ground coffee recirculation

The Challenge

The customer was looking for a reliable empty detector above the shaker for ground coffee.

Our Solution

This tank is part of the ground coffee recirculation system. Coffee is sucked from another container (using air as a transport medium) by means of a siphon system (suction impulse) and collected in this container. The rotating paddle detector installed there signals the low level and activates a vibrator. A sluice is located under this container. The coffee is returned to the packaging process.
