RN in batch and cullet (glass)

The Challenge

The customer was looking for a point level measurement solution for his batching chute. Glass cullet, which is transported by conveyor belt to a furnace for further processing, accumulates in the shaft. If the filling level in the shaft falls below a defined level, glass cullet must be refilled. This enables a continuous material flow to the furnace. The glass cullet mixture is very abrasive.

Our Solution

Our solution was the rotary paddle Rotonivo RN 3001 with Teflon sealing.
