Sludge Bed Level Monitoring In Mining Thickener

The Challenge

The customer wanted to know an accurate Sludge Bed Level in their Thickener. The challenge is measuring a specific density of sludge accurately. We also have the challenge of the rake at the bottom of the thickener which we need to take into account so it does not damage the NB3300 weight or rope

Our Solution

We set up specific density via testing in the lab at the mine to measure a very specific density level as requested by the customer. We trigger the measurement at a specific time via external input when the rake is at a specific point in the thickener to avoid entanglement
