AGM 2025 – Strategic Alignment Across the Group

Last week, the 13th Annual Group Meeting (AGM) took place at our headquarters in Betzigau – a meeting intentionally focused on the key management levels of the UWT Group. Following the invitation of the Group Management, the Managing Directors of our eight international subsidiaries (Mexico, Brazil, USA, China, UK, Poland, Spain, India), the International Sales division, and selected representatives from Product Management, Marketing and Shipping joined the event.

The focus: strategic alignment, long-term planning and a direct exchange at leadership level.

Business & Marketing: Review and Preview

One of the central agenda points at the AGM were the business and marketing updates from the subsidiaries. Each director presented their results from the past year and gave an outlook on strategic projects and market goals for 2026.

The Group Marketing Management also provided clear insights: which campaigns and initiatives were successfully implemented, which global activities are upcoming – and how we continue to strengthen our international market position.

Strategy: The 7-Year Target Plan

Another key part of the meeting was the presentation of the current status of UWT’s 7-year target planning by our Managing Directors, Markus Schalk and Uwe Niekrawietz. Innovation, structured growth and strong global partnerships were the guiding themes.

To anchor strategic planning across all regions, the Managing Directors of the subsidiaries presented their own 7-year vision plans. A joint workshop deepened these topics and demonstrated how closely our international management teams collaborate.

Exchange on Key Technical Topics

Several further operational topics were introduced and discussed, including:

  • Product trainings and technical developments

  • Experience sharing from demanding applications worldwide

  • Coordination on globally relevant requirements such as
    sanctions controls

  • One-on-one meetings between headquarters and subsidiaries

This ensures that know-how and quality standards are shared effectively at leadership level – and harmonized across the group.

Team Culture That Connects

Informal exchange also played an important role. Whether during the bowling dinner, the joint evening at Alpenflair or during the coffee breaks – there was plenty of room for personal conversations. This mix of focus, openness and direct interaction is what makes the AGM so valuable.

Conclusion

AGM 2025 was an intensive, strategically oriented meeting with a strong focus on international topics and joint future planning. With clear goals, transparent coordination and a strong international team spirit, we as a group are perfectly prepared for the next steps.
