Reliable level detection using CN 7100

The Challenge

Our customer is a young company which manufactures LV thermoplastic-insulated wires and cables for up to 1 kV from Posušje, Bosnia and Herzegovina need full detection of calcium carbonate in process hopper. The sensor must work reliably with sticking materials, do not take up much space inside of the hopper, and have a quick response.

Our Solution

Using the new CN 7100 capacitance probe customer have got a reliable level detection. An important highlight is that this sensor works with two wire electronics and has “Tip sensitivity” technology providing high accuracy in the detection adjustment, even with the very sticky material our solution could manage to provide the right signal output.
