RF 3300 high temperature version for ash economizer process hopper

The Challenge

The operator of a coal fired power plant in China is looking for reliable fulle detectors in a economizer process hopper. The particular challenge were the high process temperature combined with the very strong mechanical impact and dust environment.

Our Solution

The application was solved with a capacitive probe RFnivo 3300. The RF probe can be used in process temperatures up to 500°C. The product-contacting probe parts are dust- and pressure-tight. The high sensitivity of the limit switch results in a reliable and fast fullalarm of the processhopper. From a product Dk value of 1.5 the RF3300 can be used. With fly ash, one is far above it, so here also functional and process safety is ensured. All in all, the perfect probe for level measurement in fly ash.
