RFnivo 8000 in cooling system water

The Challenge

A manufacturer of wood panels in Brazil was looking for a high-quality, high-precision demand detection to monitor a wastewater tank from its cooling system with agitator. The difficulty lay in reliably measuring the water with a high concentration of process steam at around 200 °C in the tank.

Our Solution

Our solution for this case was our capacative Sensor RFnivo RF 8100. This level switch can withstand up to 200ºC of process temperature and has wetted parts in FKM and active shield technology. Due to its robust construction, it can withstand the high pressures, up to 35 bar, and operate even with constant steam over the probe.
