Water and wastewater level measurements in underground sumps

The Challenge

For water and wastewater level measurements in underground sumps, radar sensors are used. These devices are employed to accurately gauge the liquid level within these enclosed underground spaces, ensuring efficient monitoring and management of water and wastewater levels.

Our Solution

The non-contact radar NivoRadar NR 7200 by UWT is particularly suitable for such applications. It holds the necessary certifications and accurately detects the level, even in the presence of condensation around the antenna. Adjusting the sensor is effortless through the UWT LevelApp. In total, 12 devices were installed.
