Liquid ready?!
Under this motto, the global UWT world came together in the Allgäu region during the first week of May for the 8th International Sales Meeting. Together with subsidiaries, sales partners, and employees from around the world, an intensive week filled with strategy, exchange, and team spirit was on the agenda.


Shaping the Future Together
The week began with the joint 7-year strategic planning process involving the eight UWT subsidiaries. Among the topics presented were targets and plans related to revenue growth, employee development, infrastructure, and future space requirements. Over the coming weeks and months, these concepts will be further refined and consolidated into a shared strategy for the entire UWT Group.
Strategy turned into commitment. And from this commitment, sustainable growth is intended to emerge – step by step, market by market.
By Tuesday evening, sales partners from 35 nations had arrived in the Allgäu region for the official ISM. Starting on Wednesday, subsidiaries, sales partners, the management of the UWT Group, as well as colleagues from sales, product management, and marketing came together to work jointly on strategies, market approaches, and the future direction of UWT.


From a Question to a Clear Statement
One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the development of the central theme throughout the week. At the beginning, the key question was still: Are we ready for the liquid market? After intensive workshops, presentations, and technical discussions, the answer became a clear statement: WE ARE LIQUID READY!
UWT demonstrated clearly that the company already offers a strong portfolio for liquid applications today – ranging from sensor solutions to monitoring and visualization systems. At the same time, it became evident how much development effort and strategic focus UWT is investing to further expand its liquid business in the future.


In addition to sales strategies and sales push initiatives, marketing activities, global campaigns, and new communication approaches were also key topics throughout the week.
A special focus was placed on making our international partners “Liquid Ready” – providing them with technical know-how, concrete sales arguments, application expertise, and strategies for successfully expanding the liquid business in their local markets.
The shared goal: to further strengthen UWT’s global position as a strong supplier of level measurement and monitoring technology – for solids and liquids.
Inspiration, Technology, and Exchange
One of the highlights of the week was the keynote speech by Prof. Dr. Michael Groß. The former professional swimmer, three-time Olympic champion, and five-time world champion shared valuable insights on motivation, change, and successful collaboration through his experience as an entrepreneur, coach, and honorary professor for organization and leadership.
The technical side of the event also offered plenty of highlights: Product Management guided participants through various themed rooms with different technical focuses. The feedback was consistently positive – practical, exceptionally well prepared, and met with great interest by the participants.




UWT Family Spirit




The emotional finale was the joint celebration on Thursday evening. A small “beach” with deck chairs and a beach bar was created on the UWT company premises – a charming tribute to the UWT production site on Malta, where the ISM had originally been planned to take place. Matching the Mediterranean atmosphere, typical Maltese drinks and specialties were served, further emphasizing the close connection to the Malta location. The celebration continued both in the festival tent and at the beach area, creating a fantastic atmosphere and true UWT Family Spirit.
What stood out throughout the entire week was the open and familiar atmosphere across the company. Guests, employees, and helpers all contributed to making everyone feel welcome, included, and comfortable.
The 8th ISM once again demonstrated that the UWT family continues to grow. Together with subsidiaries and sales partners, UWT is strengthening its position in the global market – with a clear strategy, strong team spirit, and a shared vision.
