Chute blockage indication in leather factory

The Challenge

The customer required chute blockage sensors for feed conveyors of dried animal waste into their boiler system. The switch was required to sense a feed blockage and stop the conveyors and indicate that their was a feed problem.

Our Solution

Using a RN 3001 mounted over the head drum of the conveyor this would allow the plant to know when a chute had become blocked. The sensor is robust, durable and tolerates caking, dust and harsh conditions.
