The Challenge

A Taiwanese power plant already has tried various technologies for the level control in fly ash silos. However, they did not receive precise and reliable results. Therefore, they asked UWT for a reliable and maintenance-free solution. The difficulty within this application is the very light and sulfurous (aggressive!) material. Above, the application is very dusty.

Our Solution

The perfect solution for this application is the lot system of UWT NivoBob NB 3000. This system has already solved many other applications worldwide for many years. The main advantage is the easy set-up, a long lifetime and the reliable functionality. For very light materials combined with high process temperatures UWT offers special weights (spider) which offers precise measuring results. The integrated tape cleaner saves the mechanics from dust and damages caused by aggressive materials.
