Level limit measurement in electrostatically charged textile fibres

The Challenge

Our customer required to monitor the level of textile fibres to be processed in his flocking machines. Level measurement was required in small supply containers and also in containers collecting the waste material after the processing. The challenge was to provide reliable measurement of the extremely light and electro statically charged material.

Our Solution

The UWT vibrating fork Vibranivo VN 2020 series fulfill these requirements. The highly sensitive VN 2000 (from 5 g/l) ensure exact customised measurement. With these features both series are predestined for such applications in many areas of the synthetics sector. The VN are not affected by material conditions such as electro static charging, low density and low DK-value.
