Level measurement in coal dust

The Challenge

A power plant in the Ukraine is looking for a level sensor in coal dust in a hopper. The primary requirements are: - medium temperature up to 150°C - high dust content - hazardous location zone 20/21

Our Solution

The perfect solution in this application is the electromechanical sensor NB 3200. The integrated tape cleaner protects the housing of dust. It works reliable also in this higher process temperature. Most probe parts are in stainless steel. The commissioning of this sensor is quite easy, because the quick setup is menue guided.
