NB 4200 in cement

The Challenge

A customer in the Russian Federation has built a plant for cement handling and production of ready-mixed concrete. The customer needed a level measurement for all silos. The operator need to have the information about the amount of empty space in each of the 6 silos to understand how much material and in what silo could be loaded from the railway wagons. The application is very dusty, sticky and the surface of the cement-level is steep.

Our Solution

The electromechanical sensor NB 4200 in the tape version is the perfect solution in this silos. It works independent of dust, sticky material and the angle of the surface. The integrated tape cleaner protects against dust in the sensor housing.
