NR3100 in clinker

The Challenge

A customer in India is looking for a level sensor in a 49 m high silo for clinker material. The atmosphere is dusty and with higher temperature up to 180°C. The sensor should be a contactless sensor.

Our Solution

The solution in this application is a free radiating radar NR3100. Its high frequency of 78GHz and beam angle of only 4° are perfect in this application.The reflection from the material surface is very well. The process temperature can be up to 200°C.
