Radiation Waste Level Sensor

The Challenge

Measuring the water level & solid waste in 8 holding tanks at a Nucular Power Plant. Problem the room where the tanks are in, the water & waste are very radioactive. Problem plastic, rubber & alumium can have have bad reactions with the radiation.

Our Solution

2 NivoBobs sensors per tank with stainless steel parts replacing the alumium & plastics parts. 1 NB 3100 for measuring the water level & 1 NB 3300 per tank measuring the solids accumulating in the special filter material in the tank (Ecodex).
