RF3300 Overfill protection in electrofilter for clinker dust

The Challenge

A large cement plant in Russia had the task of overfill detection of clinker dust level in electrostatic filter during clinker production. The task was complicated by the presence of strong vibration, a very dusty atmosphere and high temperatures up to + 300°C. As a solution was chosen a capacitive level switch RF3300. This device works well in dusty atmospheres and at high temperatures. Remote version with 1 m cable eliminates vibration.

Our Solution

The RF3300 remote version is the right senor for this application with vibrations and high temperature. The capacitive sensor detects reliable the clinker and guarantees a stable and maintenance free application of this filters.
