RFnivo 3000 in toothpaste

The Challenge

One of the world's leading manufacturers in the manufacture of hygiene products needed to control high levels of toothpaste. The very sticky product is the main challenge in this application. The probe must also comply with sanitary requirements for the CIP cleaning process at ca. 100°C.

Our Solution

In this case the most suitable solution was our RFnivo serie 3100 Radio-Frequency Capacitive level sensor, with active shield technology able to avoid false alarm caused by sticky material and high sensitivity to detect the low DK material. The rod probe with 400mm made of reinforced PPS and Stainless Steel, resists up to 240°C and 25 Bar. This was the perfect solution for a complex process environment, especially with CIP cleaning process.
