Control of back flow in animal feed

The Challenge

In animal feed production, a backflow sensor was needed in a tube. This should not detect the material flow in the shaft, but only when the shaft is clogged from below. The animal feed is sticking.

Our Solution

A robust and reliable solution in this application is the rotating paddle switch RN 3001. This sensor works independent of sticky solids. The stainless steel probe has a high mechanical stability and a long lifetime.
