Glycerolysis-complex process level measuring possible with NG 8200

The Challenge

It was a very hard task to find a sensor for level measuring in a tank where additives for BIO-fuel are made. In the process of glycerolysis are a lot of different ingredients (palm oil, oil leftovers, used motor oils). And later in the process glycerin and salt is beeing added. Then the density and viscosity of the medium changes. During the process the liquid is heated up to 250°C.

Our Solution

The UWT product NivoGuide NG 8200 was the only one that withstands the high temperature and works in liquid that changes density over the process stages. Before the customer ordered the units, the UWT team tested it at site successfully.
