Level limit measurement in animal feed

The Challenge

Our customer is a Danish supplier of animal feeds for pets and farm animals. He requested a level limit detection in order to optimise his production processes. The extreme conditions like dust, high temperatures, steam, chemical reactions because of mineral salts are a big challenge for the measurement system. Above, a vibrating system beneath the vessel (in order to prevent deposit build-up in the vessel) is another difficulty within this application.

Our Solution

The rotating paddle switches of series Rotonivo RN 3000 fulfill the requirements of this extremely difficult application. The usage of special high-quality sealing and corrosion resistant materials for the bearings and product tangent parts allows a long-life guarantee for the level limit switches. The version with separated electronics prevents the negative influence of the vibrating on the electronics.
