Level measurement and monitoring of 11 silo with NB 4200

The Challenge

A customer in Russia had a project where the levels of 11 storage silos with raw material for plastic products has to be monitored. The silos have also the protection against overfilling (Solido 500). Also they asked to connect to local visualization system, where the levels of all sensors can be monitored. The Interface is Modbus RTU.

Our Solution

The standard solution in this application was the electromechanic NivoBob NB 4200 with Modbus RTU Interface. It is a plug and play sensor and in this application maintenance free. The communication with modbus allows a comfortable operation of the system. Easy and cost effective multidrop wiring is another advantage.
