Manufacture of geosynthetics - Level measurement in a storage silo (plastic granulate)

The Challenge

A customer from Germany who manufactures geosynthetics for the construction industry was looking for a reliable system that would enable him to conveniently call up all fill levels and limit levels of his plastic granulate storage silos via his company network using a PC. In addition, measurement technology for fill levels and full and empty detectors was to be installed.

Our Solution

The optimal solution consisted of our complete package: the NivoBob NB 3200 level sensor, the Rotonivo RN 3002 full-level sensor with rope extension, and the Rotonivo RN 3004 empty-level sensor. All sensors were wired to our Nivotec NT 3500, which transmits the fill and limit levels to the company network. The customer can now conveniently access our visualization through a browser and monitor the fill levels at any time. UWT handled the entire installation in this project, including subsequent commissioning.
