The Challenge

A customer in Germany needed reliable and maintenance-free level sensors for his 8 storage silos. Its silos are not accessible via a ladder and there is no personal protection on the silo roof. It is therefore very expensive to get to the sensors.

Our Solution

The solution is the Nivobob NB 4200. This device works 500,000 measuring cycles without maintenance. With approx. 3-10 level measurements per day, virtually no failures or maintenance are to be expected over decades, making it the ideal sensor for these silos. Access to the sensor Modbus interface via the UWT visualization NT 4500 makes the system transparent and convenient.
