NivoBob NB 4200 in perlite

The Challenge

The customer is looking for a reliable content measurement in a storage silo for perlite. The environment is very dusty and the density of the perlite quite low. Because of the low DK value it would not be possible to use a radar sensor.

Our Solution

The best solution in this application is an electromechanical sensor NB 4200 with parachute. It works independent of dust and DK value. The parachute has enough sensitivity to detect the solid. The result is a reliable level display.
