NR 7100 in a process tank with sugar cane molasses

The Challenge

A prominent sugar and sugarcane alcohol manufacturer required accurate monitoring of its cooking process tank volumes to manage sugar molasses. These tanks operated at 60ºC, generating steam and containing sticky substances. Ensuring reliable measurements was critical as previous attempts were consistently disrupted by the presence of steam.

Our perfect solution for this application was the non-contact radar sensor NivoRadar NR 7100. This sensor is capable of operating in temperatures up to 60ºC and is suitable for use in steamy environments.
