Poultry farm feed storage with NR 3100

The Challenge

A customer was automating their poultry feed system. They required a method to monitor the level of grain within two storage silos during fill and discharge. The grain is unprocessed so creates a large amount of dust during the filling process. For safe access to the NR3100 it needed to fitted close to the silo inlet feed.

Our Solution

The NR 3100 was successful in meeting the customers requirements and by adjusting the feed rate was able to work even though the feed flow passed through the radar beam and in a very dusty enviroment.
