RN 3004 in cement truck filling system

The Challenge

One of the largest cement producers in Chile, needed a robust solution for low level control of its cement filling system in trucks. This instrument was supposed to guarantee that the filling cone would have enough cement for the truck. The environment was quite dusty and the load weight of the material was high.

Our Solution

Our ideal solution for this case was the Rotonivo 3000 series rotary paddle level switch, this instrument has a probe made of stainless steel and constitutes a reinforcement tube with several internal support points, double bearings, increasing robustness and preventing entry of dust for the most demanding processes. The sensor housing has an IP66 degree of protection, ideal for dusty applications.
