Rotonivo RN 3004 in cement combined with high temperature and pressure

The Challenge

A customer in Russia requested a full detection in a pneumatic conveying system. The system conveys hot cement from the grindig mill to the storage silos. The process pressure up to 10 bar, the process themperature up to 250°C . The sensor has to be robust and reliable in this harsh conditions.

Our Solution

The rotating paddle switch Rotonivo RN 3004 with tube extension is the best solution for this application. The rotating paddle switch even works reliably at a process pressure of 10 bar. The dusty environment is no problem for the RN 3004 because the unit is absolutely dense by a Teflon double shaft sealing and it is a very robust stainless steel probe.
