Capanivo 7000 in soy oil

The Challenge

The leading food production company in Peru needed to detect a high level of a tank with vegetable soy oil. The oil is heated to 60°C and during the process it forms a layer on the surface that sticks to the walls and other elements, generating false outputs in the sensors. For this application there is also a need for food grade.

Our Solution

We solved this case with our Capanivo 7000 series capacitive point level sensor. Sensor with PPS probe, food grade, and stainless steel process connection. With temperature resistance up to 100°C, suitable for the hygienic process. This device can be applied with very sticky materials as there is no influence the level measurement due to the Tip Sensitive technology and the sensor's ability to measure the inverse frequency to detect materials and not only the capacitance.
