Fuel oil storage level detection

The Challenge

An OEM manufacturer needed a full detector for his heating oil storage tank. Special requirements: - process temperature up to + 120°C - highly sticky product

Our Solution

As a solution, the capacitive level limit switch RFnivo 3100 was installed. The Active Shield Technology ensures reliable measurement results even with heavy build-up of the heating oil around the probe. Due to the heat-resistant materials, the standard version can be used at process temperatures of up to 240°C.
