Level limit measurement in PP-regranulate

The Challenge

Our customer maufactures high-quality packaging solutions and therefore requires a level indicator located in a pre-bin. The indicator is responsible for a sufficient supply of the extruder with PP-regranulate. A reliable and long-lasting level indicator is therefore highly requested. The regranulate has a low DK-value of 1,7.

Our Solution

Our RFnivo of the series RF 3100 assures safe triggering of material need. The sensor has a integrated automatic calibration and makes the setup very easy. Its high sensitivity of 0,5pF allows a very reliable function also the probe is quite compact and short. It can measure a DK of min. 1,5. Due to its high quality, the level switch will undoubtly work for a very long time without further calibration.
