Level measurement in an extruder handling ceramic paste

The Challenge

Customer manufactured a extruder for dosing a ceramic paste. The material was very sticky so the customer did not want to use capacitance and vibration switches. The hopper was small so had space problems.

Our Solution

Using a Rotonivo RN 4001 with a centre mounted paddle the customer was able sense the material and have had no problems with the material causing any false signals.
