NivoGuide in Water

The Challenge

A large Chilean wood board manufacturer was looking for a reliable solution to measure resin water at 70°C from the heating of the logs in the dryer system. The level was control via a pipe with 200mm diameter and 600mm high of condensed wood water.

Our Solution

For this case we applied our NivoGuide 8000 series rod version, with a stainless steel 8mm rod. The length was defined in 500mm with special FKM and PPS sealing able to support until 80°C. Also the HART 2-wire electronics with very short reaction time and combined with the high precision of +/- 2mm was a perfect solution.
