NivoRadar ® - NR 7200 for wastewater sludge.

The Challenge

A manufacturer of packaging, grafic and copy paper from Thailand was looking for a level sensor for its wastewater treatment system. For safety and operational reasons, multiple level measurements are required in these tanks. The level of the wastewater sludge had to be monitored up to 8 m below the top edge. Accuracy was a very important factor in order to prevent the tank from overfilling.

Our Solution

​We've installed our continuous radar sensor NivoRadar NR 7200 for this application. The 1 1/2" thread makes it very easy to install and the sensor is resistant to all weather conditions. It operates at a frequency of 80 GHz using FMCW technology and withstands temperatures up to 80°C. Its simple setup makes the sensor extremely convenient and user-friendly.
