Plug and play level limit switch for all bulk materials with a bulk density (DK value) of 1.6 or higher

The capacitive level sensors of the series Capanivo® are used in storage and process containers as full, demand, and empty detectors for all bulk materials with a bulk density (DK value) of 1.6 or higher. Additionally, the sensors are deployed in pneumatic conveying systems as level and backflow detectors. The probe, made of glass fiber-reinforced PPS plastic, is FDA-compliant and suitable for use in the food industry. The implemented "Active Shield" technology makes the level measurement insensitive to applications with adherent material.

The probe is available in the following versions: compact, with pipe extension, and with cable extension. A version designed for elevated temperatures (up to 180°C) is also available. Pipe and cable extensions can be flexibly configured in different lengths. The cable version is the suitable solution in applications where there might be lateral force on the probe, such as from the filling stream or collapsing mounds of material.
