UWT’s expertise is proven in successful projects worldwide. One of the largest cement plants in Kazakhstan required a reliable solution for continuous level measurement in a cement silo over 22 metres high. The extreme environmental conditions – including high dust levels, material clumping, elevated process temperatures, and an existing high nozzle – posed special challenges for the measurement technology.

The goal was to obtain precise measurement data for efficient production control and operational safety.

 

 

The implemented electromechanical UWT lot system, NivoBob® NB 3200 , stands out for its robustness and versatility. The NivoBob®, used in its tape version, features an integrated belt cleaner that effectively prevents dust deposits, ensuring accurate measurements. The installation was facilitated by an extended nozzle adaptation, allowing seamless integration into the existing infrastructure with the pre-existing socket.
