UWT rallies for a cause that saves lives
As part of our continued commitment to community service, UWT is proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Since its founding, St. Jude has tirelessly worked to treat children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, driven by the mission that “no child should die at the dawn of life.”
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, the hospital has made groundbreaking progress in research and treatment, offering free care to children and pushing the overall survival rate from 20% to over 80% within the U.S.
Together for Hope and Healing
Since the beginning, St. Jude has received enormous support from communities and partners all across the world. This year, UWT is proud to contribute to this mission with a donation of $2,000 for this vital institution.
At UWT, we understand the profound impact that community collaboration can have on vital causes like this one. Every contribution, whether large or small, brings us closer to ensuring that no child or family has to suffer because of cancer. Together, we can make strides toward a healthier future for all children.
Running for a Cause
TEAM. UP TO THE MAX.
To further show our commitment, the UWT Team will be participating in the St. Jude Marathon Weekend, on December 7 in Memphis. Alongside thousands of participants and supporters, we will run through the city in solidarity with the children who battle cancer and life-threatening illnesses every day. We encourage everyone to join us in making a difference—whether by participating in the run, volunteering, or donating to St. Jude’s mission.
As we lace up our shoelaces to run, we remember that every child deserves a chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. When you support St. Jude, you help give kids with cancer around the world that chance.
Together, we can save more lives.
