NG 8100 in Hexane solvent for soybean oil

Die Herausforderung

An oilseed oil extraction plant was looking for a solution for measuring a 1000mm cylindrical solvent tank, used in the soy oil extraction process. This process must be safe to maintain the smooth running of solvent production to extract soybean oil. The installation had to be done in a 1500mm bypass pipe, another requirement was the length of ATEX gas explosive zone. Due to the dimensions, accuracy and response time were very important.

Our ideal solution for this case is the NivoGuide 8000 series guided radar. The level probe is 1500mm long, made of stainless steel, 8mm in diameter, perfect for applications in pipes, with +-2mm accuracy and fast response time. Meets ATEX II 1G 1/2G Ex requirements with 2-wire Hart communication.
